Happy Mother’s Day, and a special thanks to all of the mothers connected with our club, who not only assist on the field and as volunteers, but who do so much unrelated to rugby in all of our lives. On behalf of the Goulburn Rugby Club we offer our constant appreciation for all that you do and hope you are spoiled rotten.
But to rugby… and what a packed day we had at Rugby Park on Saturday. Not only were all three Dirty Reds teams in action but two Trinity teams – the U14 Girls and U16 Girls – played enthralling curtain raisers. Women’s 10s: It was a record breaking rampage by the Dirty Reds women in their 70-0 win over Hall Bushrangers.
1st Grade Men: Squad numbers and returning players helped, but it wasn’t enough to beat Wests.
2nd Grade Men: The Dirty Twos led for the bulk of the game but Wests came back strongly.
