Just the one game of senior Dirty Reds rugby this week. The Goulburn Women’s 10s team bounced back from last week’s loss with a spectacular return to form against Bungendore.

The Goulburn first and second grade men weren’t the only byes in ACT First Division first and second grade this weekend. All teams in those two competitions had the bye except Uni-Norths and Gungahlin. There were only two games played in the Women’s 10s as well.

Next weekend all three Dirty Red senior grades will be at Rugby Park Goulburn with the Women playing Uni-Norths and the men playing Wests in both grades. Potentially. Last home game against Wests they forfeited in seconds but hopefully they’ll send both teams this time around.

In the juniors it was another fun and entertaining (and brisk) Friday night at Carr Confoy Park. We have received word that Trinity Catholic College 1st XV player Josh Evans suffered a serious head injury in his match yesterday and is now in Canberra Hospital.
