And a big weekend for Goulburn Rugby it was. At the younger end of the spectrum, the Fizzy Reds competition played their last round of season 2022, and in the senior men’s, it was a semi-final win that put the Reds into the first-grade grand final in two weeks (and also received their minor premiership trophy in the pic above).

The Fizzy Reds wrapped up a great season that was shortened, as is sometimes the case, by rain and wet fields.

We hope that you all enjoyed becoming part of the Fizzy Reds family, and the broader Goulburn Rugby Family, and we hope to see you all again next year.

“Big thanks to the kids in U8 and their parents for the season. Thanks to “Chucka” Thrower for his coaching efforts and Robbie Cosgrove and Goulburn Rugby. There was a lot of improvement over the season and we are all very proud. Crookwell was the stand-out team of the comp and the ones to beat next season.”
