The Goulburn Rugby Club gathered to celebrate an unusual year in a new way at the GRU Clubhouse on November 28.
The Club held a combined presentation throughout the afternoon, with frequent references to the strange nature of the late starting year. But while the reduced competition lengths and a massively extended pre-season were mentioned, all recognised that they were lucky to have competitions at all when many other sports didn’t.
Season 2020 saw the Club field seven teams in home and away competitions for the first time.
In onfield results, the men’s first grade, men’s second grade and Under 15s teams all won premierships. Additionally, the Under 16s were grand finalists and the Women’s team were semifinalists.
Below are this year’s President’s Report, and the Club Awards.
