First win for Dirty Twos

The Dirty Twos registered their first win of the season with a dominant 48-12 win over Cooma.

Goulburn was up 28-12 at the break and added a further twenty points in the second half.

Cooma was unable to add to their score in the second half, but were every bit as tenacious as their firsts for the entire match.

While first grade coach Pearson was happy with the size of the win he pointed out that both grades have some work to do and that getting more of the players to training is where that begins.

The match marked Brad Muddiman’s debut as captain of a senior side, having played Under18s last year.

Best and fairest players for Goulburn were Jordan Lees (3), Louis Williamson (2) and Chris Boardman (1). Tangi Tangitamaiti was voted player’s player.
