Barbarians successful against Jindabyne Piglets

The U13 Goulburn/Yass Barbarians played Jindabyne in Yass on Saturday. 

Jindabyne turned up ready to play against the Barbarian team. From the get go, Jindabyne were competing at the breakdown, winning a lot of ball and putting the Barbarians on the back foot.

Once the barbarian team realised Jindabyne were here to play they slowly gained momentum scoring a couple of great team tries with some entertaining barbarian like rugby.

Jindabyne didn’t give in and kept pressuring the Barbarian team for the whole game.

There were some great performances on the day and the best and fairest reflected there games.

Barbarians ended winning the game though Jindabyne never threw the towel in and tested the Barbarian team all game.

Best and fairest points: Tyres Pule’anga 3, Bryce Carey 2, Sam Glover 1.

This week sees our first Goulburn home game at 10.30am at Poidevin Oval against Daramalan which should be a great contest.
