Queanbeyan too good for Dirty Twos

It wasn’t the most artful victory by Queanbeyan but it was sure as hell dominant when Queanbeyan beat Goulburn seconds by 70 to 5.

The greatest quality Queanbeyan possessed was bigness. They outlarged Goulburn by a considerable degree.

Their tactic wasn’t overly complex… just run at Goulburn defenders… but it was effective.

The Dirty Twos kept having a crack for the whole game and were never intimidated by the Queanbeyan side (although I reckon an all-you-can-eat buffet would have been), but with the Dirty Twos still working on defensive patterns, this was a game that was always going to get away from them.

From the point of view that second grade is a rugby academy, the students are coming along well and the next win is just around the corner.
