Women’s winning roll continues

The Dirty Reds women came away with an unspectacular 15-5 win that was far from convincing. The side was forced to play with 9 on two separate occasions due to yellow cards for high tackles and were lucky not have had more join them.

ADFA were tough, enthusiastic and willing with the Goulburn side failed to match them in any of those categories.

The positives remain the sides willingness in defence with ADFA’s only try being questionable at best.

The Goulburn girls have had their worst two performances on the road and it will need to be something they fix moving forward.

The side still had some highlights with Chloe Waddell holding up an ADFA player as they attempted to improve the position of the try, eat your heart out Jackson Reardon!

Lyndal Morris has her best game for the team with several strong carries and strong low tackling. The biggest positive was that the team still won despite not being close to their best.

Due to Military commitments, ADFA won’t be able to make their next scheduled game against Goulburn so the next time they meet will be on August 3 for double points.

Best and fairest players for Goulburn were Lyndal Morris (3), Chloe Waddell (2) and Paige Penning (1).
