Goulburn U15s teach a Grammar lesson

It took a little while for the U15s to find their groove, but once they did, an understrength Canberra Grammar could not match the Goulburn side, Goulburn winning 60 to 3.

Josh Evans (one try) had a solid return in his first game back while ‘Small Charlie’ also scored a try in his first game of the season. 

Joey the Jet Simmons bagged a hat trick, while Connor Hughes, Josh Clarke and Matt Seaman also scored. Other ‘pigs’ to do well were Benny Ishimwe, Will Barker and Simon Leach. Brendan O’Rourke and Toby Moller player their usual ‘pop-up everywhere’ roles. 

Pat Craig and Charlie Moroney (try each) were Horan and Little in the centres, with Seth Kennedy developing into a first class fullback.  

At times, players have had to play in different positions each week- Noah Bartlett-Taylor and Bailey Shipp had their chance in different roles today and played well.  Levi ‘The Bronc Rider’ Willoughby had another outstanding game at wing and half-back – No one gets past the big man. 

Thanks to Matty Tremble and Charlie Booth for running water today. 

Coaches Mick Seaman and Bill Barker know next week will be tougher, but were happy with the job the boys did today.
