Are you ready (or Reddy?) and raring to go for season 2021? The registration window is now open.

Goulburn Rugby junior and senior players and supporters can now register for the Goulburn Rugby Club 2021 season and draws will be available shortly.

Details for the Fizzy Reds (Primary School aged) competition will also follow shortly, but the competition IS back for 2021.

All people involved in the club’s rugby teams, and not just the players, must register for insurance purposes. Registration is free for coaches, managers and life members, costs $20 for social members (with higher tiers available) and costs the relevant registration fee applied to senior and junior players. The registration options are as follows:

Non-players can choose from the following options:

• Coach
• Managers
• Volunteer (Trainers and Life Members)
• Training-only participant
• Social member (cost $20 – available under Senior Club, higher tiers available)

Players have three payment options this year… they can pay for the whole season, for a month at a time, or pay each week. The fees for each are:

SENIORS:

• Season registration: $230 
• Monthly registration: $95
• Weekly registration: $35

JUNIORS (U13-U18):

• Season registration: $175

HOW TO REGISTER – JUNIORS:

(1) You can download the “Rugby Xplorer” app and follow the links to find your email or My Rugby number… or set up a new registration if you haven’t played before; OR You can go to myaccount.rugby.com.au and follow the links there.

(2) Select CLUB: Goulburn Junior Rugby Union

(3) Select ROLE: Player (Or Coach, or Volunteer, or Manager)

(4) Select REGISTRATION TYPE: XVs Juniors

(5) Select DURATION: Season

• At some point it will ask you to Add Active Kids Voucher on the Registration Summary page. A pop-up will appear where you enter your voucher number and the pin will default to your child’s DOB. You will need to agree to Rugby AU Terms and Conditions before continuing. The voucher will be redeemed and deducted from your overall registration fees.
• Goulburn expects to field teams in the U15s and U18s competitions but may field other teams should numbers warrant it.
• Coaches, Managers also need to register. Their registration is free… just select Coach or Manager.

NOTES FOR ALL PLAYERS:

• Players participating in trials, training and tournaments are reminded they are not covered by insurance unless they are registered.
• If you choose Monthly or Weekly registration, there is no cap. For example, if you paid monthly for 4 months, that would cost 4 x $95 = $380. If you’ve paid one or more payments weekly and wish to switch to monthly (or monthly and wish to switch to season) it doesn’t discount the amount you’ve already spent. If you sign up for weekly or monthly registration… the clock starts ticking instantly.

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIPS

As an amateur sporting club that felt the financial brunt of 2020, we would greatly appreciate the support of followers and former players. One easy way to do this is to become a social member. The base rate for social membership is $20 which in addition to providing financial assistance to the club also provides complete membership rights such as voting.

To become a social member, select SOCIAL MEMBER under “Role” in the registration process detailed above.

If you would like to select GOLD MEMBERSHIP or PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP you can do this midway through the registration process. You must first select Social Member, then two Saleable Items appear. Select either:

• Gold Membership ($30): Middle tier Goulburn Rugby membership. Includes Polo shirt & stubby holder (please indicate required size). Items to be picked up from canteen or additional charges for transport. Must also have paid $20 social membership (total cost $50); OR
• Platinum Membership ($60): Top tier Goulburn Rugby membership. Includes Polo shirt, stubby holder and hoodie (please indicate required size). Items to be picked up from canteen or additional charges for transport. Must also have paid $20 social membership (Total cost $80).
