It was Meat Loaf who said two out of three ain’t bad, but this week’s triple-play of senior rugby action was better than not bad. First grade retained their unbeaten tag, reserve grade had their biggest win and the women’s team, even though they lost, held control over the women’s competition leaders for the larger part of the match.
This round was Goulburn Rugby’s Supporters Day, when the club acknowledges and thanks the partners, parents, family and friends of the Goulburn Rugby Club for supporting the players and the club in doing what they do.
Next weekend, only the women’s team are in action with second grade having already played their Round 8 match against ADFA and first grade having the bye.
The tables this week will be a little misleading as most games in all ACT divisions didn’t go ahead due to fields being declared waterlogged… leaving many matches postponed to be played another time.
