Weekend roundup – Sunday, 27th September 2020

It's the exciting end of the rugby season, and this weekend we had two play in grand finals, two earn their way through to grand finals, one team claim a semi-final berth and another team bow out.

The Under 15s team, in their first year playing in the Goulburn colours, won the U15 premiership against St Eddies by 24-7.

The Under 16s, also playing in a grand final in their first year with the Reds, and also against St Eddies, went down by 26-5.

Congratulations to both teams for joining the Dirty Reds family this year. We hope you had a great experience and would love to have you with us again in 2021.

The Under 18s played their final match for the year and were beaten 22-10 by Wests.

The Women's team, in their first year of 15-a-side rugby, lost to Royals by 45-7 but have secured a spot in the semi-finals in two weeks.

The 1st grade men's side had a confident 54-22 win over RMC and will play in the first-grade grand-final against Hall on Poidevin Oval in two week's time.

Reserve grade will join them as grand finalists in two weeks after disappointingly receiving a last-minute forfeit from Easts. Both men's sides have come through the season undefeated and are looking to retain those records.
